Sarjapur is a developing locale east of Bangalore. It is 45 km away from Bangalore International Airport and 26 km away from Kempegowda Bus Station and Bangalore City Railway Station. The road connectivity to IT corridors like White Field, Electronic City, Outer Ring Road, Hosur Road, Marthahalli, Silk Board, and Koramangala. A highway has been proposed from Ejipura to Koramangala to reduce travel time impulsively. The 2.4km long bi-directional road will have 4 lanes and is being Development proposed.

The Metro lines are under construction in Phase III, and a new metro line is said to connect Yelahanka in North Bangalore to Sarjaaapur in the South-east of Bangalore. The main infrastructural development of BBMP is to improve road connectivity. The proposed Peripheral Ring Road connects Bellary Road, Old Madras Road, Hosur Road, and Sarjapur Road to Tumkur Road along with the NICE corridor. The Bangalore authority has approved 116 km Peripheral Ring Road with 9600 crores kept aside for this development. It is said to connect Tumkur road and Hosur road via Bellary Road and Sarjapur road during Phase I. the proposed satellite Town Ring Road will connect to the satellite town of Hoskote, Devanahalli, Ramanagaram, Kanakapura, and Doddaballapur.

Prominent multinational corporational like Genpact, PayPal, ARM, KPMG, and Nokia have created job opportunities for several people. The major growth point was when Infosys acquired 202 acres of land to set up IT SEZ. These developments surely uplift the infrastructure and the value of the locality attracting, many many clients.
